Day
1: ARRIVE CAIRO (3 NIGHTS)
Upon arrival
at Cairo International Airport, you will be met by a representative and
assisted through formalities, then transferred to your hotel.

Day 2: PYRAMIDS, MEMPHIS & SAKKARA
Your
Egyptian adventure beings in Giza, where you will tour the world famous Great
Pyramids, Solar Museum and the legendary Sphinx. There's even opportunity for a camel ride, if you're
adventurous! We then travel to Sakkara,
where you will see the Step Pyramid of King Zoser, history's first stone
building. Then visit Memphis, ancient
capital city of Egypt. In the evening
you will be treated to a special welcome dinner.

Day 3: EGYPTIAN
MUSEUM, OLD CAIRO, CITADEL
The
day begins at the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, home to the vast Treasures of
King Tut; then proceed to medieval Old Cairo where you will visit a 1,000
year-old Christian Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue. In the afternoon you will tour Saladin's Citadel Fortress, site
of the magnificent Mohammed Ali Mosque and other Islamic architecture. Then proceed to the exotic Khan El Khalili
Bazaar for a taste of Egyptian shopping.

Day 4: FLY TO LUXOR (NILE
CRUISE - 4 NIGHTS) - LUXOR & KARNAK TEMPLES
Transfer
to Cairo Airport and depart for Luxor, known as Thebes in ancient times, and
home to one third of the world's antiquities.
A representative will greet you upon arrival and transfer you to your
Nile Cruise Boat for check in and lunch.
NOTE:
Cruises may depart from
either Luxor or Aswan. This afternoon you will visit the Temple of Luxor, and Karnak Temple, the
largest religious complex ever built by man.

Day 5: LUXOR
Today
you will see fine examples of ancient Egyptian architecture and learn the
mysteries of hieroglyphics. A motor
coach will take you to the Temple of Sethosl, spiritual center of ancient
Egypt. Then visit the Greco-Roman era
Temple of Hathor at Denderah. In the
afternoon go for a swim in the ship's pool or enjoy a cocktail on the shaded
afterdeck.

Day 6: VALLEY OF THE KINGS - EDFU
This
morning explore the Valley of Kings, where King Tut's Tomb was discovered. Then it's on to the stately Mortuary Temple
of Queen Hatshepsut and other wonders of the past, including the Valley of
Nobles, Valley of the Queens, Colossi of Memnon and Temple of Medinet
Habu. Afterwards, you will sail to
Edfu. On the way, watch farmers tilling
the fields just as their ancestors did 5,000 years ago. At Edfu, visit the Temple of Horus, the
world's most well preserved ancient building.

Day 7: EDFU - ASWAN VIA KOM OMBO
Overnight
you will sail to Kom Ombo, and in the morning visit the Ptolemic Temple there
and see 2,000 year-old mummified crocodiles.
Then sail on to Aswan, where you will ride in a picturesque Felucca
sailboat to visit the Botanical Island and Mausoleum of Aga Khan.

Day 8: ASWAN - CAIRO
In
the morning you will tour the beautiful Temple of Isis at Philae, the
spectacular High Dam and the Unfinished Obelisk. Your enjoyable and rewarding
tour will come to an end as your guide accompanies you to the airport for the
return flight home via Cairo and a lifetime of memories from Egypt, the
Treasures of the Nile.
